Sometimes I have witty retorts to other people's Blips. It would be awesome if I could post a comment without Blipping another song.

Even if you click on someones profile keep the music playing at the bottom of the page or some sort of player that doesn't get interrupted by a link in the website. only when you click on a new song. Thesixtyone.com does this flawlessly but i like what blip.fm is doing.

For instance you might want a mellow playlist and a balls out rock playlist. Different music for different moods.

i'f rather not suggest low quality mp3s, or be aware if i'm about to blip something that might otherwise be of dubious quality. It would be nice to 'report' an mp3.

I need my Blip.fm while I'm on the go. What about a mobile version of the site that looks sexy on my iPhone?

I want to floss my station with bling. Please add a way to upload a background image and maybe change some colors.

Internet mp3s are all different volumes. Why not normalise those so we don't have to turn the speakers up and down every 5 minutes?

Viewing the site on my iPhone can't compare to the slick possibilities of a native iPhone app. I can wait a little longer for you to make it happen, just make it happen.

The whole community thing is great, it's what makes Blip.fm awesome. But sometimes I want to say something to just one Blipper, without everyone knowing about it. Maybe I want to send a personal information (like my e-mail) or share an embarassing tune (like Britney), or maybe I just want to carry on a musical conversation with someone without bothering all my other listeners. So, could we have personal messages, just like we have on Twitter? Please?

this would be really useful for people like me who don't want to keep on re-blipping songs too many times.

why do i have to tell you what my favorite artists are? it changes all the times, so just pull my most popular songs and artists out of last.fm.

To me that's a no brainer, i'm not going to use this thing if i'm starting out from scratch and have to do everything manually.

Just raise the max from 3 to 5 to give us a little more scope to reward our favorite DJs!

Sometimes people go nuts and blip the same stuff over and over. I don't want to completely un-favorite them, but it would be nice if i could shut them up for, like, an hour.

Although the "better search" idea is listed as having been completed, I'm still inundated with completely irrelevant results every single time I search. I would like to be able to specify whether I'm searching for an "artist" or for a "song title", and whether I'm searching for "any", "all", or an "exact match" of the search terms

It'd be great to have a winamp plugin that allows you to blip from it. Similar to the last.fm audioscrobbler program that runs alongside winamp.
